How to use.
Shampoo and dry hair.
Apply Vaseline or baby oil to the hairline and ears to protect the skin from being dyed.
Using rubber gloves, apply color evenly to hair from roots to ends with a brush.
Comb through. After application, wrap the entire hair with kitchen wrap and leave on for approximately 15 to 30 minutes before rinsing. Wash hands after application.
The color will fade with each shampoo, and the degree to which the color lasts will depend on the intensity of the dyed color. Color may last longer depending on hair type, condition and porosity. For best results, avoid shampooing freshly dyed hair as much as possible. Essentially, color takes 48 hours, or 2 days, to set. Shampoo should then be applied first to dry bleached hair and not conditioned.

How to test: Using soap, water, or alcohol, wash a small area of skin, such as behind the ears or on the inside of the forearm. Apply a small amount of hair color and allow to dry. If no irritation or inflammation is observed, the patient is not considered to be hypersensitive to the dye. If irritation occurs, do not continue use. Testing should be performed prior to each use.
First aid measures should be taken. Eyes: Immediately flush with water for 15 minutes, remove contact lenses if worn, and consult a healthcare professional. Skin: Flush with water. If swallowed: Consult a healthcare professional.
Punky color products may stain skin and fabrics such as clothing, towels, bedding materials, furniture tiles, grout, counter tops, etc. They can stain anything porous. Cover the area to be painted or removed with plastic bags, plastic wrap, foil, newspaper, or other discardable material to prevent unwanted stains. When rinsing hair, rinse directly under the faucet, away from the face, neck and body. Do not rinse your hair in the shower, as the color may splash out and stain the shower or tub. Bathroom surfaces are porous and should be avoided at all costs.
To remove stains, use a peroxide cleanser and a bleach or bleach-containing cleaning spray. Another option is to mix equal parts baking soda and liquid dish detergent to make a paste and apply it to the stained area. Toothpaste can also be applied to a cloth and rubbed in a circular motion with a small amount of warm water to remove stains.
