Kill Your Idols is pleased to announce the release of a new photo book featuring live shots from the beginning of The Misfits’ 1977 debut season. The first single “She / Cough Cool” was released in October 1977, and this book documents their live performance at the Shock Theatre in Toronto, Canada on December 21-22, two months later. This was the last live show of 1977, the 10th show since their debut show at CBGB on April 18. The band members were Glen Danzig, Jerry Only, Manny Martinez, and Frances Coma. Ths Misfits had traveled to Canada to support DEVO’s second single “SATISFACTION” release tour, but the tour was cancelled and they were replaced by the Canadian band PAUL TILL is a Toronto, Canada-based photographer who began taking live shots of bands in 1973 and remains active on the front lines as a photographer. He runs the official RockAndRoll Portfolio.com website, and his documentary photobook of The Misfits’ first period is now available for the first time in Japan.
