THE ESTRANGED is a newcomer from PDX, consisting of three former members of REMAIN OF THE DAY and two of the current members of HELLSHOCK. The ESTRANGED is already highly acclaimed as a post-WIPERS band!

This 8-track collection includes 3 7″ EPs, a PDX compilation take, and a take from the split 7″ EP by AUTISTIC YOUTH. The sound structure is simple, but the stylish PUNK sound with a hint of sadness and gloom is a perfect counterpoint to the modern hardcore sound that has been created with comps and limiters, and even freshness can be felt in the simple sound production. The guitar work is reminiscent of early JOY DIVISION, WARSOW, MISSION OF BURMA, and SOUTHERN DEATH CULT, but the core of the band is the legendary local band “WIPERS”, which is a major influence. And it’s still PUNK ROCK.
