■POSSESSED SHOE x RUDE GALLERY_ “Bones Session”■[Limited Edition

The release of new shoes based on the prototype of the famous high-cut shoe FOOT PLANT will be released in June. The ground design is based on the image of CROSS BONES drawn by Mr. Uchiyama of MAGICAL DESIGN, who has been employed by RUDE GALLERY since the early days of the company, in the image of the total pattern that existed in the 80’s. The base design is “FOOT PLANT”. The base “FOOT PLANT” has a special material upper that wraps around the ankle to protect the ankle. The design holds the instep so that the foot does not play inside the shoe even if the laces are not tightened to the top. The space between the left and right eyelets on the instep is shaped like a football and fits three-dimensionally, making it easy for Japanese people with a high instep to get used to the shoe. Despite the high cut, the ankle can be moved without stress. The fabric used for the upper is 14oz cotton canvas, which is usually used for POSSESSED SHOE’s standard models, but at RUDE GALLERY’s request, we adopted a more true black dyed material. The heel has a strap reminiscent of Dr. Martens. The addition of the strap makes it easier to put on and take off the shoes. The shoes will be made to order for the first time, so those who wish to order are advised to make reservations. Don’t miss out.

MICRO FIBER LINER
MICRO FIBER, a special material with soft and needle-like texture, is used for the lining of the ankle, and the interlocking of CANVAS and MICRO FIBER allows for free movement of the ankle and a moderate holding feeling.

DOUBLE LAYER OLLIE PAD
The outer side of the shoe is double layered. Even if the first layer of canvas is scraped by Ollie, etc., the second layer of suede prevents the hole from penetrating.

OUTSOLE AND INSOLE
Gum sole is used for the outsole. The waffle pattern enhances grip and flexibility. The insole uses a high-density urethane foam material with high shock absorption. The heel portion from the toe to the foot has a honeycomb structure for enhanced durability and wicking properties. The toe portion is 5 mm thick and the heel portion is 10 mm thick for improved shock absorption and control.

In the late 1980s, the brand director discovered skateboarding as an extension of the hardcore punk he was listening to at the time.
Obsessed with skateboarding, he formed the hardcore punk band THE SCUMBAG at the end of the 1980s, and the band was active for two years. In the mid 90’s, he started making skateboarding videos as a part of OPIOID VIDEO series with the riders of T-19, a skateboard brand in Tokyo, and by 2001, he had made 5 videos of skateboarding. By 2001, he had produced 5 videos. In the late 90’s, he launched the skate apparel brand RGOA with ESOW, and in 2000, he launched TRANSMIT, a domestic skate shoe brand developed in collaboration with PRO-KEDS. By 2001, TRANSMIT had released skate shoes including pro-signature series by ESOW, ZIZOW, and KIKS, but TRANSMIT was closed in 2002 and RGOA was closed in 2007. After that, he experienced full-scale industrial production of apparel and other products.
