PAINTBOX ceased its activities in 2007 with the passing of Chelsea, a core member of the band, and the remaining members spent a long time completing “TRIP, TRANCE & TRAVELLING”, a masterpiece that transcends the boundaries of hardcore and still shines brilliantly today, At last, “Episode 0” of their history is unraveled.
The recordings on this album are from studio practice tapes. The vocalist Mune says that the quality of the songs is already very high at this point, and if they had been completed, each song would have been a single-class song.
The band consists of Chelsea on guitar, Naka (NO PROBLEM) on bass, and Suguru (Blues Bimbos/DEEPCOUNT) on drums, with Chelsea singing vocals in a tentative form. Although Mune did not participate in the music, his thoughts are included in the liner notes, which we hope you will read here.

The master recording was made by digitizing a cassette recorded at a studio rehearsal using home-use equipment. Please understand this in advance.
