It has been eight and a half years since the start of production in early 2001, with many twists and turns. This is the third album of 2009, a major work that took a tremendous amount of time and effort to produce. Although there was a period of time when production was completely halted, the sudden passing of Chelsea in 2007 fueled a sense of mission to preserve this work and create a masterpiece that transcended the boundaries of hardcore. This album has the aspect of a concept album, and despite freely incorporating a variety of styles, there is no sense of blurring as a band. In fact, this is what PAINTBOX is all about.
