Devilman” is a manga that I have loved since I was a child.
The day has finally come for CATANA to officially release it.
The origin of CATANA is not a “sword” but a quotation from the manga “Devilman,” and among the anime that influenced me in my childhood, the original work that shocked me with its shocking ending, and the various published versions of the manga that were derived from it, I have chosen the original “DEVILMAN -first-” as the starting point of the collaboration this time. I also thought of collages and remakes.
We considered collages and remakes, but we wanted to bring out the power of the original artwork, so we carefully selected the best scenes from the original with CATANA’s unique perspective and balance, and put them on T-shirts, long sleeves, and hoodies. However, since it would be nonsense to print the original as it is, we thoroughly corrected the fine points, blurred lines, ink skips, etc., that could not be corrected in the original. The simple but well-chosen designs and thoughtful compositions are masterpieces, as you will see when you see them in person.

DEVILMAN01 is a cut from a memorable scene in which Devilman unavoidably pierces the face of a girl in a fight with Jinmen, a profound cut that expresses Devilman’s emotions at that time, and a cut from the scene in which Devilman transforms.

DEVILMAN02 was taken from a door picture with Devilman’s powerful hands that first caught his eye when he was rolling up the pages to see which design he would use.
The back print features an illustration of the “Demon Special Search Party Headquarters” created by Japan against the Demon Tribe.4V.

The collar name design is also specially designed. Printed with the katakana Devilman logo in katakana katakana.
