In 2022, a year of accelerated turmoil, we managed to survive.

How are you guys doing?

It’s been about four years since the last release of the familiar tack-patterned bandanas. It’s always strange, but considering the number of times they are re-released, I always think I have enough until I die, but I don’t have any of my own.
So, I’m re-releasing the evergreen “riveted bandana” again, and leave you with a revised version of the spoiled liner.

The background of the period in which this one was born is from the end of the SDS to the CHELSEA period. I started working on the design at the end of the 20th century and realized it at the beginning of the 21st century. 、、、、 means that 20 years have passed!
In 2001, the image was almost complete, but I could not reach the final design, and after repeated trial and error, I finally arrived at 1%13’s first original pattern, the rivet pattern.
In fact, it took a lot of work. If there is a leopard pattern in rockabilly, why not a tack pattern in punk? This is the starting point of the production.
The “bandana” is a medium that has not been highlighted much in the punk world since then, such as the Sousaidal roll, bandana slash, Chaos UK 3-point bandana, and so on,
While pursuing new punk possibilities, the bandana is being re-released based on the conviction that it is absolutely necessary in real life in today’s world, where the sense of crisis is increasing on a global scale.
In the pursuit of reality, I forced Bisjan to be scanned countless times, and the machine itself collapsed.

The bandana is square, so if I gave it characters in four directions, would it create a different view? I had a flash of inspiration, and that was the end of my luck.
The extra combinations of characters in the design made it even more difficult to land on the right spot. At first, the project had been proceeding with a clean finish of the joints by digital processing,
However, the extra work offset the roughness and rawness of the punk, and as a result, the project ran into a deadlock and all of the nearly finished designs that had been created over a long period of time had to be scrapped,

After getting myself back on track and restarting, I continued to wait for the boiling point, repeating the process of making and destroying, while being conscious of the messy combinations.
I even tried to make the zips and buckles look special by using rare Long-Jan parts, but I believe that the cheap leather jacket parts I bought at DEAD END were the most suitable for the job.

The color image has a mystical taste and always stimulates one’s senses. For some reason, this color tends to be favored by delinquents, but there are various theories as to why.
It is a great color for accenting without showing off. It is also a great gift for its multi-use and ease of use.
