Tuff i is made entirely of suede upper. These skate shoes are soft from the start. The toe portion of the side of the upper, which is subject to wear and tear due to ollies, is made of a double-layer construction. The second layer is made of nubuck. Nubuck is a soft and durable leather material that follows the outer leather. Even if the first layer of suede gets a hole, the nubuck layer is hard to get a hole, so the shoes will last longer. There is another reason for using nubuck. Nubuck is a soft leather, but it is less stretchy than suede. By using a material with less stretch on the outer surface (pinky toe area), which is the most stressed area of skate shoes, we can reduce one of the causes of shoe breakage , which is loss of shape . For the sole, we developed POSSESSED SHOE’s original hemp pattern to improve grip performance. The hemp pattern includes a strong honeycomb structure. DOUBLE LAYERED OLLIE PAD
The side part of the shoe side, which is easily cut by OLLIE, has a two-layered structure, which is highly durable and prevents holes from penetrating the main body. Nubuck, a soft material, is characterized by its longevity because of its strong leather quality and its permanent abrasion resistance after the first layer of fabric is scraped off.

OUTSOLE and INSOLE
Gum sole is used for the outsole. The original pattern enhances grip and flexibility. The insole uses a high-density urethane foam material with high shock absorption. The heel portion from the toe to the foot has a honeycomb structure for enhanced durability and wicking properties. The toe portion is 5 mm thick and the heel portion is 10 mm thick for improved shock absorption and control.

In the late 1980s, the brand director discovered skateboarding as an extension of the hardcore punk he was listening to at the time.
While obsessed with skateboarding, he formed the hardcore punk band THE SCUMBAG at the end of the 80s and later devoted himself to activities in FVK. In the mid 90’s, he started producing skateboarding videos as a part of the OPIOID VIDEO series with the riders of T-19, a skateboard brand in Tokyo, and by 2001, he had produced 5 VIDEOs. By 2001, he had produced 5 videos. In the late 90’s, he launched the skate apparel brand RGOA with ESOW, and in 2000, he launched TRANSMIT, a domestic skate shoe brand developed in collaboration with PRO-KEDS. By 2001, TRANSMIT had released a series of skate shoes including pro-signature series by ESOW, ZIZOW, KIKS, etc. TRANSMIT was closed in 2002, and RGOA was closed in 2007. After that, he experienced full-scale industrial production of apparel and other products.
He launched POSSESSED in 2016, utilizing his experience designing shoes at TRANSMIT. He still rides skateboards and always tests products himself. Currently, he writes a column “Skateboarding: A New Look at the Past and Future” for VHS MAG, a skateboard web media.
